Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Orthopaedic Plastics Technician and play a crucial role in the production and repair of orthopaedic devices. We are looking for people to contribute to the overall success of our small organisation, ensuring that we deliver exceptional products that really make a difference to patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a team in the plastics department.
2. Safely run and maintain manufacturing equipment.
3. Ensure the smooth and continuous running of the production line to meet client requirements with a product that meets the defined quality criteria.
4. Assist in other areas of the factory on an ad-hoc basis as instructed by the team leader in the plastics department.
Experience
* Demonstrated ability to work precisely with strong attention to detail.
* Team player with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work independently.
* Ability to work well under pressure and organise and prioritise your workload.
* Collaborative skills in a team environment.
Desirable
* Experience in the healthcare or medical devices industry is a plus.
What We Offer:
* This is a permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week.
* Hours of work are 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am – 12.30pm Friday.
* Overtime (when available) paid at time & half.
