Job Title: Rural Regeneration Officer Grade: Band 5 (SCP 20) Location: Belfast Duration: Temporary, Full-Time Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri (9-5) Salary: £15.70 per hour Key Responsibilities: Assist in the delivery of rural and regeneration programmes, including Small Pockets of Deprivation, Heritage in Housing, and Village Catalyst. Manage programme budgets and ensure compliance with audit and reporting requirements. Work with partners to support rural and regeneration programme delivery. Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of policies. Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes to ensure value for money. Maintain accurate records and update system databases. Draft reports, committee papers, and responses to enquiries. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, councils, and community organizations. Provide high-quality customer service and manage queries. Represent the team and support colleagues as required. Essential Criteria: Degree (Level 6) with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or HND (Level 5) with 2 years of experience, or 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in delivering housing/regeneration outcomes and working with stakeholders. Proficiency in managing budgets and using IT systems to process payments. Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills. Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. Access NI check.
