The main focus of the role will be to support colleague development to deliver our 'grow our own' model, upskill our managers, support wellbeing and focus on creating an inclusive workplace.
The post holder will take an active role in leading learning and organisational development activities, scoping, designing, facilitating, and evaluating development interventions which support teams and leaders through change.
The successful candidate will also develop frameworks (digital and face to face) to enable leaders to lead compassionately and inclusively, ensuring CHFT is a great place to work.
We are seeking individuals who have had previous experience in learning design and facilitation, as well as exposure to various types of OD interventions. The post holder will be a strong communicator with an eye for detail.
You will be a member of a small OD team within a wider Workforce and Organisation Development (WOD) team who are passionate and committed to encourage growth and development; creating conditions for healthy team working, where teams and individuals can thrive and support one another. The wider Corporate WOD team are responsible for developing CHFT's inclusive people strategies, policy and practice, whilst delivering people services which support strategic objectives, improve staff engagement, comply with legislation, support organisational culture development and the embedding of organisational values
Specifically the role will take a lead on the overall management, design, delivery and evaluation of Learning and OD interventions in the areas of talent, leadership and team development in line with our Trust Values and NHS People Plan priorities.
