Job Title: Permanent Night Nurse - RGN / RMN Location: Walthamstow, East London Salary: £22 per hour Hours: 48 hours per week Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanent Night Nurse to join our team at a reputable, well established nursing home in East London. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing the highest level of care to our residents. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care to residents during night shifts, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. - Administer medications, treatments, and other healthcare interventions as prescribed. - Monitor and assess the health status of residents, identifying and addressing any changes in their condition promptly. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all care provided and any changes in residents' conditions. - Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to resident care. - Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues, addressing any concerns or queries with professionalism and empathy. - Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and nursing home policies. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Experience: - Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with an active NMC PIN. - Proven experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting, particularly in night shift roles. - Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care to elderly residents.
