Job summary An exciting opportunity within North Ceredigion Community Mental Health Centre for individuals who have a life experience of mental health illness to join our team as Peer Mentors. Experience of working in a care setting is not essential for this role as life experience and knowledge is of most importance. We are looking for individuals who can bring their invaluable insight into mental health which would assist in the continued development of the services. Main duties of the job Evidence of achieving personal goals and a level of stability is also important as is an interest in a career working to support vulnerable adults with multiple and complex needs. You'll have good communication, flexibility and basic computer skills along with a desire to develop and learn new skills. You will also develop good working relationships with other voluntary and statutory services within the area, supporting service users as appropriate in accessing these services.
