At Cytek Biosciences, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role is essential in managing our warehousing operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials.
The Warehouse Associate position involves efficiently picking, packing, and shipping materials. The job also includes receiving incoming goods and materials, both physically and in NetSuite, and reconciling inventory while investigating any variances. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for managing inventory through sorting and stocking materials, as well as performing various functions related to inventory management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools to accomplish tasks.
* Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
* Picks, packs, and ships materials and products.
* Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise.
* Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed.
* Maintains a safe, clean and organized working environment.
* Participates in quality improvement efforts.
* Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
* Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3 years of warehouse experience
* Familiarity with warehousing and shipping practices/methods.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Commitment to excellence and high standards
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage priorities and workflow
* Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
* Familiar with ERP, WMS and TMS systems and practices
* Experienced in using Outlook, Excel, Visio and Word.
