An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STHFT) for a Band 6 MRI Radiographer to work within the fantastic MRI team where a variety of work is undertaken.
This post is part of the collaborative initiative of the Community Diagnostic Hub program. Although the successful candidate will be employed by STHFT, there will be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required. However, this role is primarily for STHFT MRI services, and the successful candidate will join the MRI rota for STHFT and work across all MRI service sites. Successful candidates will be an employee of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and managed as per the governance arrangements currently in place for Radiology and the organisation.

Main Duties of the Job
South Tees Hospitals is the largest hospital trust in the Tees Valley with two acute hospitals and services in a number of community hospitals. South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is already nationally recognised as one of the leading healthcare providers in England for the quality of our services.
The Trust is a designated regional major trauma centre with a 24-hour acute admissions unit and specialised services in cancer, neurosciences, vascular surgery, spinal injuries, cardiology, and renal medicine.

Knowledge & Skills
* Evidence of good general experience in MRI scanning and knowledge of a wide variety of MRI scanning techniques and protocols.
* Evidence of active CPD.
* Comply with MHRA MRI safety guidelines.
* Trained in IV cannulation.
* Experience of developing working relationships.
* Experience of Clinical Audit and research.
Qualifications & Training
* BSc or MSc Radiography or DCR(R).
* HCPC registered.
Experience
* Manual Handling Skills - of patients and complex radiographic equipment.
* Post-graduation Radiography experience.
* To have evidenced experience within MRI.
Personal Attributes
* The ability to establish good and effective working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team.
