The work of the Fitness to Practise team is vital in ensuring public confidence in the dental sector. We investigate concerns of shortcomings in conduct or competence where dental patients may be at serious risk. When appropriate, we take action to mitigate that risk.
Casework Assistants play an essential supporting role assisting with administrative and casework tasks to ensure the timely progression of Fitness to Practise cases, in accordance with departmental procedures. Day-to-day tasks include providing a high-quality customer service, managing finance processes, preparing and summarising case-related documentation, maintaining accurate records, and tailoring correspondence to suit the requirements of the recipient.
About you:
Successful candidates will have experience of working in a customer/client-based environment and managing sensitive and confidential information. The ability to produce high-quality written correspondence, maintain attention to detail, communicate effectively verbally, and work both in a team and independently is essential.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Logging post and ensuring correct distribution to Caseworkers.
* Creating purchase orders and payment of invoices.
* Creating dental assets.
* Creating correspondence to dental professionals and informants.
Experience of working in a regulatory or similar environment is equally important.
