Responsibilities:
* We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Children and Families Social Worker with expertise in child protection to join our dynamic team. This is a vital role where you will work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure that children are safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and develop care plans for children and families in line with statutory frameworks and policies.
* Undertake child protection investigations and manage cases requiring child protection plans.
* Provide direct support to children and families, focusing on their safety, wellbeing, and development.
* Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to deliver a multi-agency approach to child protection.
* Attend case reviews, core group meetings, and legal proceedings as required.
* Maintain accurate records and prepare high-quality reports for court and other purposes.
Qualifications and registrations:
* Qualified Social Worker
* SSSC registered in the Social Work part of the register
