We’re all about possibilities. Are you?
Can you analyse a football game like a pundit? Do you know your Marvel from your DC? Maybe you can create imaginative craft projects, know where the best recipes are or really love animals?
And patience. Do you have patience and empathy?
Become a Support Worker
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.
You will be working in people’s homes, so it’s important you can connect, share interests and be interested. From making a cuppa on their own to finding their place in community, the people we support have their own goals to shoot for and milestones to reach – big or small. They may work, or volunteer, or keep active – or their sensory processing means they lead a quieter life.
So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
Ability to commute/relocate: LS2 - You must be able to reliably commute for shift start times or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
What will we do?
We will train you in everything you need to be a great Bank Support Worker. We can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.
What will you do?
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all trips out and artwork. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
It sounds exciting to say no two days will be the same, but in support, sometimes they are. Sometimes people like routine and struggle with change… But when you support someone to try something new – what a feeling!
If you want to empower people to live the life they choose and you share our values… Apply to become a Support Worker today.
