Kemtile is the UK’s leading manufacturer & installer of hygienic flooring and drainage systems to the food and beverage market and a wide variety of other industries. Established in 1979, Kemtile has been trading for 40+ years and was acquired by Stonhard, part of the RPM Group in 2018 due to its established place in the UK market. Stonhard’s acquisition of Kemtile will enable the business to grow into new markets whilst staying established in the food and beverage industry.

As a result, an exciting & rewarding opportunity has arisen to join this reputable company for a highly motivated Sales & Business Development individual who enjoys spending time in front of customers and prospects at all levels, identifying opportunities, delivering excellent customer service, and developing Kemtile’s profile in the market.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver revenue budget within assigned territory.
* Create opportunities through networking, relationship building, and hard work.
* Understand customer technical requirements and specify the optimum solution.
* Develop key account relationships by delivering excellent service.
* Maximize each account’s potential by cross-selling solutions and networking.
* Establish and develop ongoing relationships with building owners, contractors, architects & engineers.
* Understand the different stakeholders and their involvement.
* Offer practical solutions to meet client needs.
* Demonstrate excellent time and territory management skills to balance account management, new business development, and administration.
Qualifications:
* Understanding of CRM systems i.e. Salesforce.
* Ability to ask the right questions at the right time to influence the buying process positively and uncover the customer’s real needs.
* Ability to present information in a professional manner using a range of techniques that enthuses the customer.
* Experience of construction sites and ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Ability to effectively communicate and develop relationships at all levels including Architects, Engineers, Facilities Managers, Contracts/Project Managers, Company Owners, and Directors.
* Objection handling – Ability to think on their feet or apply a range of tactics to overcome customer objections throughout the sales process.
* Able to work under pressure & in a fast-paced environment.
