Deputy Superintendent Radiographer Breast Unit

1. Communicate effectively with team members on the breast screening service and the symptomatic breast team.
2. Work with the regional QA team to ensure service performance is accurately submitted and actions taken forward.
3. Ensure professional patient/client and radiographer relationships at all times.
4. Communicate with medical staff, including doctors, consultant surgeons, consultant radiologists, and nurses within the unit and the trust.
5. Communicate with engineers from the equipment providers.
6. Communicate with clerical staff in both the screening and symptomatic offices.
7. Communicate with staff from the host mobile site (can be from supermarket stores, local government, swimming pools, doctor surgeries, etc).
8. Deal with off-the-street enquiries and answer any related health promotion questions.
9. Have sensitivity to the cultural, physical, and psychological needs of the patient.
10. Provide information for relatives both written and verbal.
