A growing Lloyd’s Insurer are looking for a highly driven and ambitious individual to join the team as a Junior SQL Developer to join the team. The role will best suit a college leaver or recent graduate who is mathematically/technically minded with an interest in technology and data. Responsibilities Of The Junior SQL Developer Learn and Grow: Develop SQL skills through hands-on training and real project experience. Database Support: Assist with basic data queries, updates, and reports. Data Management: Support the team in managing and organizing data to help drive business decisions. Troubleshooting: Help identify data issues, investigate their sources, and work toward resolutions with guidance from senior team members. Documentation: Keep detailed notes on processes, changes, and improvements to support team projects. Essential Attributes Of The Junior SQL Developer Strong GCSE/A-Levels, particularly Maths Curiosity and Enthusiasm: You’re excited about learning new skills and finding solutions. Attention to Detail: You can work carefully with data, making sure it’s accurate and well-organized. Problem-Solving Skills: You enjoy working through challenges and finding answers. Communication Skills: Able to work well with others, ask questions, and communicate effectively. Basic Computer Literacy: Familiarity with computers and comfort learning new programs. Target Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum Start Date: ASAP, 1 month notice Location: London, EC3A – 3/4 days per week in the office
