The Royal Navy Nuclear Submarine Fleet has maintained an at sea deterrent for decades. We have an exciting opportunity in our in-service team to be pivotal in supporting this mission. We work to develop solutions to support the continued operation of the fleet. You will be a member of the Electrical In-Service Control Account Team as part of the In-Service Programmes team within the Services Business unit. You will be responsible for delivering solutions and will be involved in all major activities including project management, manufacturing, procurement, and build. The successful candidate will have a strong customer and supplier management focus, a proven track record in project delivery and the ability to operate in a busy environment within the Submarines Business. What you’ll be doing: You will be supporting the Control Account Manager to deliver the project requirements. The successful delivery to cost, specification and time for defined packages of work Co-ordinating work across different business units. Developing a schedule of work to meet the overall project and business unit objectives, ensuring they are realistic and can be delivered. The ability to operate seamlessly across businesses and functions, rapidly sharing lessons and best practice. Evidence of a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Proven ability to deliver at pace A working knowledge of SAP and the Primavera P6 scheduling tool in relation to project activities is desirable. Ability to work with minimum supervision in order to deliver results and to work in ambiguous situations, whilst working to tight timescales and achieving quality outputs on time.
