The Senior Director, Global Commercial Strategy, Icotrokinra, will provide leadership and oversight for the global launch strategy and execution for a first in class asset for plaque psoriasis. As a strong partner with R&D, Global Medical Affairs and the Regions to deliver on the potential for this asset worldwide.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Build a competitive launch strategy for icotrokinra plaque psoriasis based on a deep understanding of the disease and marketplace.
* Redefine the plaque psoriasis market by partnering with regional leadership to build a compelling go to market strategy and secure regional implementation for icotrokinra.
* Create and ensure consistent communication of icotrokinra value proposition.
* Accountability to deliver a global brand across markets; including global positioning, branding, global campaign and clear, simple messaging to differentiate icotrokinra worldwide.
* Identify and define key performance indicators for the launch of icotrokinra; collaborating with analytics team to set up the necessary measurement tools and reporting systems.
* Lead the development of target product profiles and provide strategic commercial input into clinical study development, product development decisions, and labeling to improve value creation.
* External perspective and customer engagement to identify groundbreaking strategies to continue evolving growth.
* Innovate by using technology-enabled solutions to improve patient outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (e.g. regulatory, medical affairs, market access, R&D, etc.) to facilitate functional strategies, reimbursement and overall decision-making.
* Effectively navigate the J&J network, leverage relationships and credibility to advocate for DAS positions, and influence key stakeholders and decision makers.
* Coach and lead a team of strategic marketing professionals to develop deep commercial insights, communicate clear commercial cases and ensure execution is aligned to strategy.
* Accountable for attracting and developing talent, and advancing GCSO talent agenda.
Qualifications -
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
* A minimum of 12 years related business experience is required.
* Broad based commercial experience; including P&L management, inline and pipeline management, and launch strategy and execution; Immunology experience is helpful.
* Demonstrated leadership, including direct people management experience, ability to successfully work across functional and geographic boundaries, preferably across multiple countries/market types/access models is required.
* Deep appreciation of science; ability to translate into strategy is required.
* Demonstrated high learning agility in new subject areas is required.
* Track record for effectively handling resources and investments to increase impact, including facility in leading teams to strong business and portfolio recommendations based on sound, insightful, qualitative and quantitative decision-making approaches and tools is required.
* Demonstrated ability to lean into highly complex discussions and influence difficult decisions with a large amount of ambiguity is required.
* Proven strategic thinking and strategic commercial skills across product and lifecycle is required.
* Successful track record in leading and/or inspiring teams across multiple functions (sales and marketing, medical affairs, analytics, market access, business development, operations and supply chain) is required.
* Global experience is preferred.
* Understanding of Pharma R&D process is preferred.
This position requires up to 30% travel (Domestic and International).
The expected target salary range: $193,000-$385,000
