We are seeking an experienced cyber security and risk management leader with proven expertise in cyber security, eCommerce fraud investigations and risk mining (SQL, Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc.) to join The Trust & Store Integrity team (TSI) within SPS (Selling Partner Services).
The individual in this role will investigate complex fraud schemes and prevent bad actors from committing fraud on our stores. The Sr. Security Industry Specialist is responsible for setting goals, defining metrics to measure progress, and providing strategic consultation and guidance on emerging fraud trends in eCommerce, cyber security and compliance domains. An individual in this role will own a portfolio of critical and high impact risk investigations and root cause analysis projects to scale their impact through technology and analytics (SQL, Python, machine learning). Further, an individual in this role is responsible to interpret and connect risks across Amazon’s multiple businesses and drive implementation of systematic solutions to solve endemic problems.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating new mechanisms to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, solving highly ambiguous risk problems through use of advanced data analytics and technology. They will operate as a subject matter expert in one or more fraud types and will identify risk patterns, uncover process and technology gaps to prevent fraud at scale across Amazon stores worldwide. Key job responsibilities
1. Complete risk analyses using complex data sets leveraging SQL, Python, R etc.
2. Build cross-team mechanisms to drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities.
3. Develop an in-depth understanding of the drivers for complex fraud schemes and create scalable processes for partner teams to understand the root cause of fraud risks in Amazon's internal business workflows and systems.
4. Define the metrics, measurements and analytical tools to quantify impact and surface area of risk and drive efforts to reduce those risks.
5. Advocate on behalf of Customers, Brands, and Selling Partners through the identification of gaps to prevent abuse, and drive resolution of the most impactful issues with the teams that own the product/application.
6. Partner with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders to define strategy, communicate, and drive progress across multiple initiatives.
7. Anticipate bottlenecks, escalate effectively, anticipate and make tradeoffs to balance the business impact versus resource constraints.
8. Communicate program issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner to all levels of leadership.
9. Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have Amazon's success firmly in your focus.
10. Conduct large scale deep dives to derive insights about tactics used to conduct abuse on our stores, identifying gaps and risk in Amazon's current mechanisms, systems, and policies.
11. Write and present documents to share with partner teams and leadership team to provide highlight new fraud MOs, share progress updates, propose new solutions, and drive alignment across stakeholders to drive implementation of preventative solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with 7+ years of relevant industry experience handling cyber security risks, fraud investigations, or regulatory compliance.
2. Highly proficient in data analysis (SQL or experience with multi-terabyte and petabyte relational databases) or scripting (i.e., Python, R, MATLAB).
3. 5+ years of team management experience in information security, access controls, fraud, cybersecurity, or regulatory compliance.
4. Proven history of managing talent and coaching team members to grow their career in technical and non-technical roles.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate security and business risk to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Proficient with data (SQL or experience with relational databases) or technology (i.e. Python, R, MATLAB).
7. Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
8. Proven ability to deliver complex projects across multiple teams.
9. Technical knowledge in at least one security domain such as access controls, engineering, system and network security, authentication, or security protocols.
10. High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.
11. CompTIA Security certification or other cyber security certifications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master’s degree in computer science, information security, Data science/Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with 7+ yrs of relevant industry experience in handling cyber security risks, fraud investigations, or regulatory compliance.
2. Experience working in fast paced e-commerce organizations.
3. Experience working within fraud, compliance, law enforcement, or intelligence organizations.
4. Experience in adjacent domain areas like network engineering, Infosec, software development for e-commerce, or work involving software for API's or web scraping.
5. Experience working with Threat Intelligence teams, threat modeling and familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT).
6. Experience with AWS cloud solutions.
7. Experience in Data Sciences, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
8. CISSP Certification or experience in multiple CISSP knowledge areas.
9. Demonstrated experience in areas such as digital forensics or internal investigations.
10. Language proficiency welcomed (Mandarin, Russian, Japanese, or Spanish) due to business requirements.
