Job overview
Due to the promotion of the current post holder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the administration team in the Community Paediatric Service at Universal Square, within the Manchester Local Care Organisation.
While developing your skills, you will be responsible for providing administration support to community paediatricians and specialist nurses and will be required to use computerised systems, such as EMIS and Microsoft Office applications, and have excellent telephone skills.
The successful candidate will have administration experience and will possess excellent organisation and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include:
* Referral management (registering referrals; booking and cancelling appointments, tasking, using the electronic patient record (EPR))
* Scanning and photocopying
* Telephone liaison with parents/carers and professionals.

Qualifications
* Good standard of written and spoken English
* RSA/OCR level 2 Typing/Word Processing or equivalent skills
* NVQ2 in Administration/Business or equivalent experience
* GCSE Grade C/5 standard or equivalent functional skills - English Language
