Attending and contributing to operational meetings. Building and nurturing professional relationships with clients, co-hosts, venues, speakers, and suppliers to foster seamless event support. Monitoring and evaluating client feedback to support continuous improvement and keeping management updated on relevant developments. Managing Salesforce cases and ensuring efficient resolution of client queries. Overseeing relationships with external speakers and co-hosts, providing guidance to the team on resolving standard and unforeseen issues independently. Leading Telephony and KPI reporting for the team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Monitoring and scheduling courses to ensure feasibility and manage department reporting for senior management. Coordinating with other team leaders on shared tasks to meet deadlines and maintain efficient operations. Taking responsibility for learning any new systems or software to support the team's efficiency. Line managing the Courses Operations Team, becoming the key liaison for Course Operations and other departments when the Operations Manager is unavailable. What's the Best Thing About This Role? What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you must have: Significant experience managing and coordinating training events across various formats (virtual, in-person). Experience in planning and scheduling training programs, with skills transferable to the accounting and tax advisory sectors. Proven line management experience, with a focus on people development. Advanced Excel skills and a strong eye for detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment. The ability to lead a team in alignment with the Operational Strategy and the guidance of senior management. A proactive, analytical approach, with the capacity to work through ambiguity and solve complex issues independently. To be successful in this role, it would be great if you have: Experience in the accounting industry. Flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK for on-site event management.
