About the role
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you’ll actively seek out and engage customer prospects, providing tailored solutions to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability. You’ll sell high-value, high-technology equipment and instruments directly to end-users and through approved channel partners. This position covers the South of the UK.
Key responsibilities:
1. Achieve agreed sales targets
2. Identify and develop new business opportunities
3. Build and maintain strong customer relationships
4. Provide technical support to channel partners and customers
5. Deliver presentations and negotiate deals
6. Analyse market trends and competitor activities
What we’re looking for:
Experience: Proven sales track record, preferably in equipment/instruments
Education: Degree-level (preferred) or equivalent experience
Skills: Cold calling, lead generation, social media engagement, and technical knowledge (physics/chemistry/biology background is a plus)
Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient
Other: Full UK driving license & willingness to travel
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM systems
* Fluency in a second major language
* Lab experience or technical sales background
