Carbon60 are working alongside a very well-known British airline, who are in need of a talented and enthusiastic Digital Asset Officer to join their in-house Creative Studio team. Alternative & Similar Job Titles Desk Researcher/Librarian Digital Librarian Junior Digital Asset Manager (DAM) Digital Archivist Job Overview You will be part of the airline's in-house Creative Studio team, with a focus on sourcing images and supporting their Digital Asset Management (DAM) activities in a busy and dynamic team. Reporting to the Digital Asset Manager, you will be responsible to react on image sourcing requests and digital assets upload activity. You will be sourcing images from the airline's own DAM, their creative team, and approved stock library; uploading images to their DAM; and cataloguing images (and other type of digital assets) to in-house standards. You will need to have robust and proven image cataloguing experience, be familiar with stock libraries, and be comfortable in proactively answering requests. Main Responsibilities Carry out uploads and cataloguing activities in the DAM as directed by the Digital Asset Manager. Respond to general images enquiries promptly, professionally, and with that 'extra mile' attitude. Update relevant and associated ticket and briefs on Adobe Workfront (WF). Upload images to the DAM from stakeholders’ requests, ensuring you follow in-house protocols. Source images from stock photo libraries and upload them into the DAM. Liaising with Creative Studio team and external agencies to source images as required. Liaise with DAM users to advise on assets availability and usage rights if required. Clean and consolidate metadata in DAM (if required under Digital Asset Manager guidance). Maintain assets and metadata quality as set out by the team. Proactively report on DAM issues. Skills & Experience Exceptional digital assets organisational skills: consistency, eye to detail and rigour. Librarianship, archives management, media management or relevant qualifications. Experience in working with metadata standards and metadata manipulation. Experience in uploading and cataloguing multimedia assets in a DAM. Previous experience using Adobe Assets/Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) would be hugely beneficial. Experience working in a Creative Studio would be fantastic. Ideally, some knowledge and experience using Adobe Workfront (WF). Familiarity with MS Office suite, especially Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Personal Qualities Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage a high level of requests. Be collaborative and proactive. Excellent time management skills, to deal with incoming requests and longer-term uploading activities. Contract Specifics Contract Length: 3-months (rolling contract). Start Date: January 2025. Pay Rate: £350-£400 per day (Inside IR35). Office Location: Hounslow, West London. Office/Home Working Flex: Ideally, 2-3 days per week in the office.
