Product Manager - MedTech
Hybrid and a requirement to be located at our Bromsgrove & Worcester site once per week.
38.5 hours per week.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our medical technology products. This role involves working with R&D, regulatory, commercial, and clinical teams to ensure our solutions meet market needs and regulatory standards while driving business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Define and deliver product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans.
2. Conduct market research, user testing, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
3. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop clinically effective and user-friendly products.
4. Ensure compliance with UK and EU medical regulations (e.g., MDR, MHRA, ISO 13485).
5. Work with sales and marketing teams to create compelling product positioning and messaging.
6. Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
7. Act as the product champion, providing training and support to internal and external stakeholders.
8. Attend and participate in industry events.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Educated within a STEM subject to degree level or equivalent.
2. 2/3 years minimum experience in product management within MedTech, medical devices, or healthcare technology.
3. Strong knowledge of UK/EU medical regulations and product development processes.
4. Ability to translate clinical needs into product requirements.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate clear strategic thinking.
6. Ability to understand, analyse and disseminate complex information or processes.
7. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
8. Excellent report writing skills, which are coherent and able to disseminate technical and regulatory information to both internal/external contacts and regulatory bodies.
9. Full UK driving licence.
