The role:
1. Ensuring all our customers are serviced to our washrooms standards – bins being emptied and cleaned, air fresheners programmed to the sites opening hours, correct amount of waste taken away. All paperwork is completed correctly and uniform worn.
2. Fleet Management – vehicle checks – booking maintenance, cleaning and repairs – managing van swaps/backup vehicles in the event of breakdowns/holidays etc.
3. Procedures – procedures written and updated. All staff trained, and signed for.
4. Logistics – Full understanding of the ‘service managers system’, would be beneficial however a good understanding of route planning / logistics is required. Ensuring existing customer details are correct, new customer installs and route planning are placed into service rounds correctly.
5. Complaints – Managing existing customer complaints, site visiting and spot checks for quality control.
6. Recruitment – interviewing for new recruits, training and planning.
Data management:
7. Relaying changings via service record cards/CRM system computer skills.
General Office Duties:
8. Assisting drivers with emptying waste at the station once they finish their rounds (if not busy).
9. Maintaining stock level and ordering from the supplies when needed (work with manager).
10. Maintain hygiene standards in the yard and ensure the process is followed for our daily yard check.
11. Log driver’s hours and days in the diary book.
12. Communicate with the Line Manager for any queries, updates, problems etc.
13. Adhere to H&S and company policy.
