Role Responsibility
To be responsible for maintaining a high level of stock management, stock rotation and effective stock distribution across all areas of the business, whilst maintaining a good practice of housekeeping.
Working Relationships:
* Site General Manager and Operations Manager
* Bar Persons
Please note you must be over 18 for this role and be comfortable with heavy lifting.
* Manage wet stock levels and ensure an effective stock rotation procedure across all areas.
* Ensure any stock transfer are recorded on the event preparation sheet.
* Ensure when assisting cellar manager/supervisor with stocktakes, all figures are accurate.
* That all cellar tasks are carried out with Sodexo Health & Safety regulations in mind, using PPE whenever specific tasks require you to do so.
* That all waste products are disposed of and recorded as wastage and inform your cellar supervisor.
* That any damage to equipment or health and safety issues across site is reported in a timely manner.
* That the closedown check sheet is complete at the end of every shift.
* Responsible for maintaining the company standards for cellar operations.
* Ensure cellar operations are done in line with the sites SOP’s.
* Ensure loose stock is used first to maintain good housekeeping and keep all areas tidy.
* To conduct duties in a manner that reflects the business in a positive way and brings a good reputation of the cellar department.
* Liaise regularly with Cellar Supervisor if noticing stock levels are running low of a certain product.
* Ensure all safety boots & protective clothing is worn throughout shift.
* Be responsible for tidying main cellar at the end of each shift.
