Job Title: Electrical Authorised Person (Water Treatment) Salary: £40 to £60 (dependent on experience)

Our client is seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Authorised Person (AP) to join their water treatment team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation, maintenance, and management of electrical systems, supporting projects, and guaranteeing compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Act as the Electrical Authorised Person, managing permits and ensuring compliance with electrical safety rules.
·Carry out electrical isolations, testing, and commissioning to ensure system safety and functionality.
·Maintain and manage HV/LV electrical distribution systems and associated equipment.
·Conduct risk assessments, prepare method statements, and ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
·Respond promptly to electrical system faults and emergencies, diagnosing and rectifying issues effectively.
·Support the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems in new and existing facilities.
·Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and contractors, to deliver high-quality results.
·Ensure all documentation, including records of inspections and testing, is up to date and compliant.
·Significant experience working with electrical systems in industrial environments, ideally within water treatment or a similar sector.
·Strong understanding of electrical safety rules, permits, and industry regulations.
·Experience with electrical distribution systems, including testing and commissioning.
·Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
·Experience in the water treatment industry or similar sectors.
·Familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, and control systems.
