As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Associate Project Director to support the development of our groundbreaking work in the infrastructure sector, with a particular, but not exclusive, focus on water.

We work with our clients by providing integrated infrastructure development and delivery expertise as well as consultancy services. Our engagement with our clients is both at Board Level as well as throughout the organisation. This means of engagement allows us to influence strategic objectives as well as deliver on the execution of those objectives.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Client Engagement & Project Leadership:
* Support the Project Director(s) on large (>£1m) engagements and lead on smaller client engagements, providing support to clients in the development and delivery of infrastructure projects with a particular but not exclusive emphasis on water sector projects.
* Assist in the development and execution of DPC and SIPR projects (including, where relevant, associated Bulk Supply Agreements) to align with regulatory requirements, client objectives and customer value.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, including legal and technical advisors.
* Present commercial workstream updates and insights as needed to senior stakeholders, including at the Board level.
Regulatory & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Lead on the production of regulatory submissions, ensuring clarity and compliance with sector standards.
* Represent clients in consultations and negotiations, supporting the shaping of policy and regulatory frameworks within the water and wider infrastructure sector.
* Address and balance the needs of diverse stakeholders, including investors, management, customers, and the supply chain.
RAB Model Application in Other Sectors:
* Contribute to the development of projects in the broader water sector, such as the Thames Estuary 2100 programme, by understanding and applying RAB model principles.
* Support the application and adaptation of the RAB model in other sectors, such as energy and transport, where applicable.
Team Mentorship & Development:
* Manage and oversee assignment teams, including coordinating input from senior members within Agilia.
* Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
* Contribute to Agilia’s industry presence by coaching staff, supporting business development, and promoting thought leadership in the water sector.
Sector Insight & Strategy Development:
* Keep informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovative project financing models, enhancing Agilia’s thought leadership and market insight.
* Identify emerging business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and contribute to overall business development within the sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years within the water or other regulated sectors, ideally with some experience in utility regulation and major project development.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks within the water sector.
* Ability to contribute to project planning, budget management, and risk assessment on smaller assignments.
* A self-starter who is able to work effectively as a member of a team.
* Very articulate both orally and in written form. Possess an innate ability to synthesise complex information, with an eye for detail and ability to communicate in an effective and compelling manner.
* Ability to work at pace, to be proactive with a positive can-do approach.
* Excellent at influencing, strong communication and facilitation skills in order to be credible and be able to challenge senior stakeholders.
* Commercially minded and risk aware.

Location:
You will be a Home Worker but will need to flexible in travelling to our London Office (based at 2 Leman Street, London. E1 8FA) or to meet Client requirements
