Join Enfield's Housing Gateway Ltd Rent Income Team as an Income Assessment Officer and make a difference in the community.
THE ROLE
As an Income Assessment Officer, you will be a key member of the rent collection service, responsible for delivering effective, customer-focused collection services for Housing Gateway Ltd tenants. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Contacting tenants in rent arrears to assist in setting up payment arrangements.

Supporting income maximisation efforts for tenants.
3.
Engaging with vulnerable and challenging customers to ensure they receive appropriate support.
4.
Working in line with national and corporate policies, procedures, and statutory legislation.
5.
Maintaining a positive and professional image when interacting with customers.
6.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and relevant partners to support tenant needs.
7.
Ensuring all actions are compliant with regulatory and legal requirements.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a rent collection or income assessment environment. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Strong knowledge of rent collection processes and income assessment.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, especially those in vulnerable situations.

Experience working within a team and collaborating with various stakeholders.
11.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
12.
Familiarity with national and corporate policies, procedures, and statutory legislation relevant to rent collection and income support.
THE CONTRACT

£18.66 PAYE / £22.81 Umbrella hourly
