We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed individual to join our team as a Foot Patrol key Holding Officer. You will be responsible for conducting regular security patrols, managing access to client properties, and responding to alarms and incidents efficiently. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service. A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential. Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels. Able to carry out extensive foot patrols. Basic knowledge of alarm and access control systems. Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards. What are you going to do: Conduct routine foot patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities Inspect doors, windows, and access points to ensure they are secure Monitor for suspicious behaviour, hazards, or security breaches Safely manage and secure client keys during the shifts Provide authorized access to designated individuals or contractors as per protocol Respond promptly to alarms or lockout situations, gaining access as needed Act as the first responder to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies Documents and report incidents accurately, ensuring they are communicated to the appropriate parties Liaise with emergency services (e.g. police, fire brigade) when necessary Act as a point of contract for clients, visitors, and tenants, addressing concerns professionally Provide clear and concise communication when dealing with stakeholders Maintain detailed logs of patrol activities, incidents, and any key usage Complete end-of-shift reports, highlighting significant events or observations Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues during patrols Ensure compliance with site-specific safety protocols Diversity is important to Corps Security; we believe that each individual has unique talents to contribute to the business.
