To maintain good standards of patient care whilst producing images of high quality, adhering to departmental imaging procedures and protocols, (complying with IRMER) To ensure rooms and equipment are kept clean and well stocked. Emergency equipment should be available and ready to use. To take part in the department quality assurance programme ensuring that the necessary QA checks are carried out in- line with departmental procedures. Ensure that all equipment faults, changes in output and/or working practices that would affect the radiation received by the patient are reported immediately as per procedure. To take responsibility for raising quality issues and related risks with the relevant people, and to take action where appropriate. To read and adhere to all trust and departmental policies and procedures. To maintain a high standard of appearance as expected of professional staff, according to the Trust uniform policy.
