Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared (active) Infrastructure Engineer with a background in installing and building IT hardware (Windows Server) and virtual systems. The role involves cross-organizational IT systems migrations, server and systems hardening, penetration testing, and collaboration with software integration teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system interoperability, documentation, video surveillance systems (VSS), access control, LAN/WAN networking, and Windows Server OS infrastructure (physical and virtual). The Infrastructure Engineer will support the strategy of our Corporate Security business unit, focusing on migrating services, enhancing security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for security systems interoperability.
* Lead projects related to system migrations, upgrades, asset refreshes, and security system rollouts.
* Coordinate commissioning of new sites with minimal operational disruption.
* Work with vendors on maintenance agreements and security solutions delivery.
* Communicate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and address concerns.
* Serve as subject matter expert for physical security infrastructure and provide support on complex solutions.
* Implement quality assurance to validate system performance and usability.
* Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001 through appropriate security controls.
About you:
* Current active SC Clearance.
* Technological literacy in learning, operating, building, and troubleshooting IT systems.
* Experience with Gallagher Security systems and other security technologies is a plus.
* CompTIA Security+ certification.
* Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, networking fundamentals, and ITIL practices.
* Ability to solve complex problems and make effective decisions.
* Attention to detail, especially in documentation and project management.
* Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Knowledge of System Architectures and Design.
* Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
