THE TEAM
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Tech Service Department as Asset Management Technicians. If you’re interested in moving to a fast-paced and driven specialist team, where you will support all aspects of work carried out in the department and can represent the Service on a regional and national level, this is the role for you.
The team is focused on establishing and delivering an effective, high-quality service that supports the wider organisation, and this is an exciting time to join and make a real impact. There will be lots of opportunity for development and you will have plenty of opportunity to attend training courses as part of this role.
THE ROLE
You will support the research and development in relation to operational equipment, appliances, and resources and support effective delivery of the basic testing and repair procedures for operational equipment. We are looking for a strong communicator who can deliver advice and information to a wide range of audiences, and who can also prepare and provide information on procedures, audits, and processes.
The applicant we are looking for will be organised, motivated, and someone who can use their own initiative, as you will support the research, development, and delivery of the department. This will require knowledge of operational equipment, information, and processes, and you will provide advice in relation to appliances and resources, helping staff and stakeholders with any queries or issues.
We are dedicated to developing our workforce - if you're looking to progress in an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic fire service, we would like to hear from you!
