Job Description We're recruiting for a Key Relationship Manager to develop and manage key accounts within a specified account portfolio nationally, to meet or exceed sales and profitability and adoption targets across all Legal & General Mortgage Services (LGMS) products and propositions, cost effectively and ethically. What you'll be doing: Achieving agreed sales targets by identifying and developing key accounts across a range of Mortgage Club products and propositions, developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan for a specified account portfolio with the Head of Strategic Accounts, Broker Building relationships with account portfolios and their top-producing firms to establish Legal & General as the preferred Mortgage Club for mortgages, technology, and other propositions, seeking out and developing new business opportunities, and deepening relationships with partners Developing, influencing, and onboarding a self-generated pipeline of prospects from initial engagement through to launch and the lifetime of the relationship, working with colleagues across LGMS distribution channels for insight, client knowledge, and support, and leading internal governance approvals where required Working in effective partnership with all Distribution team members where appropriate, implementing business plans and contact strategies, and sharing and communicating MI from the specified account portfolio to maximize opportunities Developing a governance strategy with your account portfolio to ensure delivery of an appropriate contact strategy with support and involvement from internal stakeholders, holding regular review meetings, joint management committees, strategy days, and workshops Maintaining a high level of knowledge on all relevant products and propositions, understanding current and future legislation that may affect your accounts along with key competitor contracts, and handling objections to stay up to date with market trends, providing feedback to the Head of Strategic Accounts, Broker Maintaining a high level of presentation skills and, in conjunction with the Head of Strategic Accounts, Broker Relationships, developing and delivering one-to-one, group presentations, and training sessions to your account portfolio and a wider audience Ensuring customers have sufficient information to understand when advice may be required and, where appropriate, ensuring customers have access to suitably qualified advisers in line with Consumer Duty accountabilities Qualifications Who we're looking for: CeMap or CII qualifications (or equivalent) desirable but non-essential Prior experience in a similar role preferable Marketing methods to assist business providers in day to day sales activity and campaign planning to achieve income growth Mortgage distribution strategy, to effectively target and increase profile Significant mortgage market knowledge Knowledge of the market related changes, to spot opportunity for business growth and improvement Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
