I am recruiting for a world leading manufacturing business who require an Interim Health & Safety Manager. Initially there is a commitment of 3 months with a likelihood of extension.
For the position of Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
1. Managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities
2. Arrange H&S training for all plant employees
3. Apply relevant technical guidance and control physical, chemical, electrical, mechanical and ergonomic hazards and potential risk
4. Facilitate a risk assessment programme for continuous review
5. Maintain database, monitor trends and improvement opportunities
The successful Interim Health & Safety Manager will need to have the following attributes:
6. Strong track record within H&S within a fast-paced manufacturing capacity
7. Experience of managing external parties and 3rd party contractors
8. Experience using Environment Management Systems
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
