My client is Northern Ireland’s leading supplier of office furniture, executive boardrooms and storage. Due to recent investment in a fantastic new showroom, they now need to recruit a full-time permanent Office Administrator to support the MD and Sales Manager with the smooth running of the back office functions.
Core responsibilities: -
- Process orders and payments on the central order and stock management system.
- Process purchase orders and maintain supplier relationships.
- Daily invoicing and some credit control, sending out statements on overdue accounts.
- Help plan van delivery routes, advise customers on expected delivery times.
- Be the main point of contact for customer enquiries via phone calls, emails and website.
- Occasionally help customers choose the right furniture in the showroom or confirm orders over the phone.
- Keep the ‘online stores’ up to date, add new items to Amazon, Marketplace and eBay.
- Update prices and stock levels.
- Process / despatch orders through courier and post.
- Assist with weekly social media by adding content on special offers etc.
Candidate requirements
- Ideally have 2+ years’ experience in an office/admin/accounts environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Good standard of education including Maths and English to GCSE or equivalent.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office (SAGE would be a bonus).
Starting salary of £25,000 plus attractive team bonus. Office hours Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm, occasional Saturday mornings as part of rota. 28 days holiday, pension, private healthcare, free parking.
