An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead to join Milestones Trust. We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to oversee PBS for the trust.
The PBS Lead will develop and implement a Positive Behavior Support Strategy that incorporates and aligns the different PBS approaches used in all services and that supports and champions the people we support to maximise their quality of life, and lead fulfilling lives. They will work closely with Senior Operational Managers to ensure that the strategy is realised.
This role works closely with Business Development and Senior Operations colleagues to identify and pursue PBS related development opportunities for the trust. The PBS Lead will assess all referrals for services with a “behavioural” element and work with Business Development and Operational colleagues to realise these opportunities when appropriate.
They will provide PBS plan assessment, consultation, development and review to services as well as training and debriefing support to service staff in relation to complex and challenging behaviours. This role supports services and projects in providing exemplary standards of care to individuals with complex and changing needs to support them to lead fulfilling lives.
The role is office and field based and is 37 hours a week (hours are flexible and are based on the needs of the services you will be supporting). Confidence using both face to face and remote working methods is necessary as the trust adopts a hybrid working approach.
