Location: Luton, Hybrid (60% of the month onsite)
Join our amazing team in a pivotal role that drives financial excellence across our operations. We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager. This newly created position is crucial for enhancing our financial planning and analysis capabilities, focusing on data automation, visualisation, and consolidation.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in delivering a step change in our financial processes. You will provide high-quality, first-time accurate financial outputs, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and drive disciplined, deliberate, and optimised financial processes to support informed decision-making and enhance overall performance.
What you'll be doing:
1. Lead financial consolidation across departments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
2. Develop and harmonise volume, mix, and price analysis by systematising processes to reduce manual effort.
3. Design and deliver advanced data visualisations and dynamic dashboards.
4. Provide forward-looking financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
5. Drive process improvements and develop advanced data automation processes.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate financial and operational data, enhancing performance and ensuring a single source of truth in financial reporting.
Requirements of the Role
What you'll bring to the team:
1. Proven experience in FP&A, financial consolidation, and process improvement.
2. Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined, deliberate approach to work.
3. Advanced skills in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and financial modelling.
4. Proficiency in automating financial data processes using tools like Excel and Planning Analytics (PA).
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking and solution-oriented mindset.
7. Experience in managing or leading change initiatives, particularly in financial processes or operational improvements.
8. Experience in ERP systems and a strong aptitude for leveraging technology to enhance financial processes.
