Our provider services support people who have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism with varying levels of need. This is an opportunity to be part of a service which makes a real difference to the lives of those people and their families. We work across Bath & North East Somerset, with bases at Connections (Writhlington) and Carrswood (Twerton).
About the role:
Our support workers fulfil an essential role. Across our service this can vary from supporting people in a day service to keeping them as independent as possible in their own homes. Essential functions across all of our service would include: engaging with a person to support their communication and choices, completing personal care as required, assisting with meals and drinks to the level the person needs support, ensuring medication is taken as directed and supporting each person to live a fulfilled, active life.
A bank role is an excellent way of working flexibly within these services, taking shifts from those offered according to your availability. All support workers are expected to maintain compliance with mandatory training, with full training supplied and hours paid.
You can expect:

Specific vehicle competency checks and relevant training (where relevant for driving duties)

Care experience (preferred but not essential)
