Salary: Grade 1 SCP 2-3. FTE £23,656 - £24,027 Actual Salary £2702.90 - £2745.29
Term of Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Term Time Only
Hours per week: Part Time 5 hours per week
Start date: ASAP

St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Ramsbottom are currently seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
* To undertake the supervision, security, welfare and good conduct of children during the mid-day break.
* Enforcing the expected standards of school discipline and having regard to special or educational needs.
* To provide and run activities for the children during indoor and outdoor play.
* To oversee the dining arrangements, including the hygiene of pupils and the dining area. This will include handwashing, cleaning spillages, insisting on and modelling good table manners.
* To attend to minor First Aid needs of children in accordance with school policy. This may include recording minor accidents and ensuring that relevant staff are informed and ensuring that more serious accidents are brought to the attention of the First Aider.
* To liaise closely with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and class teachers on the welfare and discipline of pupils.
* To respect the confidentiality of sensitive information from pupils and staff.

* Build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues.
* Work effectively within a team environment, understanding roles and responsibilities.
* Communicate effectively particularly when dealing with professional staff.
* Engage with pupils in playground/dining room.
* Has experience of working with and/or caring for children (within specified age range).
