Purpose of the Job Working as part of a driven and lively team with the Sales Manager is responsible for delivering the sales cycle for existing and prospective business customers in their territory. This role identifies appointment opportunities within their territory, builds successful customer relationships, and closes sales opportunities. This role will be desk-based, focusing on calling clients within Local territory. The Desk Sales Agent will understand their targets and be driven to achieve or exceed them for their territory whilst ensuring and promoting a portfolio of market-leading telephony services to customers. Key Responsibilities • Uncovering and identifying new business sales opportunities, for new and existing customers. • Identifying appointment opportunities and setting appointments for existing, lapsed, and new customers. • Ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets. • Using marketing campaign information to contact customers in a controlled way • Managing the CRM system effectively, ensuring all relevant customer information is entered onto the system, accurately and on time. • Ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets • To sell the full range of products and services, pro-actively up-selling and cross-selling new products, and services to these customers • Resolving customer complaints where necessary and maintaining ownership • Conform to all operational processes or compliance requirements • Carrying out other duties as requested by the team on a business need basis • Ensuring the highest standard of professional conduct and service both to customers and colleagues Essential Experience/skills • A Successful track record within sales, ideally gained within the telecoms industry • Evidence of meeting/exceeding sales targets, and understanding of target deadlines • Enthusiasm and driven for success • Excellent telephone manner • Understanding and experience in the B2B market • Ability to create new sales opportunities • Excellent communication and rapport building skills • Ability to negotiate and close high contract value deals • Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases • Accurate and timely data entry skills • Have a sound understanding of products and solutions, IT Telephony • Would be advantageous to have salles skills or knowledge of the mobile market • Evidence of being able to recognize sales opportunities • Can demonstrate ability to handle high workloads and prioritize tasks • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems in particularly Salesforce
