The Digital Insights Director - PM Mgr of GenAI will be part of our Digital Insights product organization within Moody’s Analytics, reporting to the Head of Client Applications. This Manager is responsible for overseeing our product roadmap for our GenAI product offerings and working with our strategy team to ensure we are meeting market and client needs.
The Role / Responsibilities:
1. Lead a cross-functional product squad focused on the evolution of Moody’s GenAI product offerings.
2. Drive collaboration across technology, operations, design and strategy teams to translate client needs into actionable product milestones.
3. Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product development decisions.
4. Lead and mentor a team of individual product managers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective product execution.
5. Drive and deliver a product roadmap influenced by strategic opportunities and market research.
6. Establish strong and collaborative relationships with business partners to help identify new product opportunities.
7. Work with technology to understand complexity of various solutions and participate in decision making to choose the right technology to solve customer problems.
8. Identify and mitigate risk and ensure controls are in place throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
1. Typically has at least 12 years of product management experience in financial services and experience in risk management software.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a manager.
3. Client-obsessed and uses personas and client feedback to inform products.
4. Strong grasp of agile methodologies and experience refining processes through retrospectives and product KPI reviews.
5. Creative thinker who can find innovative solutions.
6. Collaborative and builds strong relationships.
7. Strong market analysis and competitive intelligence skills.
8. Expertise in user research methodologies to understand customer needs.
9. Passionate team member excited by challenges.
10. Curious and values understanding the right questions.
11. Takes ownership of results and tracks critical metrics for decision-making.
12. Improves effectiveness of peers and organization through ideas and influence.
13. Good technical understanding of the product domain to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
