We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our client's Procurement team.
In this key role, you will support the efficient acquisition of products, to meet project deadlines and meet SLAs.
Responsibilities:
* Generate and enter purchase orders to the system
* Communicate purchase orders to relevant suppliers and ensure timely follow-up
* Share survey details with engineers
* Address and resolve delivery issues from operatives
* Prepare and manage documentation for Goods Returns
* Coordinate with suppliers to follow up on quotes and resolve purchase invoice discrepancies
* Assist in maintaining the database to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information
* Collaborate with the Stores and Procurement Manager to conduct and document regular stock checks
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in an Administrative role is essential, previous Buying, Procurement or Sales Admin experience would be advantageous
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organised
* Ability to work a fast pace, to deadlines
* IT Savvy, confident to learn new systems
