My mainstream secondary school client, based a short commute from Cirencester, is actively seeking a versatile and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis, 29 hours per week across five days. Teaching Assistant qualifications & previous experience working in SEN environments will be beneficial but not essential as full training is provided. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers and graduates to begin their careers in education in a rewarding and exciting role. To be successful, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to support the classroom teacher, in addition to a genuine desire to support students and facilitate their success.
The School:
This school prides itself on the professional development opportunities it offers, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced teaching assistants seeking a new and vibrant environment, as well as aspiring teachers taking their first steps into a career in education. Depending on the experience and qualifications of the Teaching Assistant, they can expect Unqualified Grade 3 Point 4 (£12.65 per hour) or Qualified Grade 4 Point 7 (£13.26 per hour).
In addition, you will receive:
1. Guarantee Pay Scheme opportunities
2. Permanent job roles
3. Support and advice during the clearance and onboarding process
4. Working to Agency Workers Regulations
5. Interview preparation, advice, and support
6. Statutory employment rights, such as sick pay, holiday pay, maternity, and paternity pay
