Job summary We are seeking to recruit a highly organised Admin Coordinator to provide comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative support services to the Trust's Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response (EPRR) Department. This role is pivotal in assisting senior managers both within the department and across the organisation in achieving the Trust's strategic EPRR objectives. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess a flexible approach to work, demonstrating the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Strong prioritisation skills will be essential, as the role involves managing complex and sensitive issues. A solid understanding of information governance and confidentiality procedures, along with knowledge of records management processes, are critical components of this position. Candidates should exhibit excellent communication, organisational, and collaborative skills, with proven experience in supporting and motivating others in a fast-paced officeand incident response environment. The successful applicant must possess recent, relevant experience in a secretarial or administrative role, have the capability to take clear and concise minutes, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Main duties of the job The Admin Coordinator is responsible for delivering high-level and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Trust's Emergency Preparedness, Resilience, and Response (EPRR) Department. Key duties include providing vital assistance to senior management and collaborating closely with the broader department to facilitate the achievement of the Trust's strategic EPRR objectives. The incumbent will also play a crucial role in supporting the Trust's response to Business Continuity, as well as managing Critical and Major Incidents. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that all administrative functions contribute effectively to the overall operational readiness and resilience of the Trust. Additionally, the position may require occasional travel between various sites within the Trust's portfolio, as well as attendance at meetings and events held at external locations.
