Veterinary Surgeon - Mimram Veterinary Centre - Welwyn, Hertfordshire No OOHs and limited Saturday mornings We have a great opportunity for a dedicated, part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team at our RCVS accredited SA first opinion practice in the heart of old Welwyn village. About us: Mimram Veterinary Centre is in a beautiful part of Hertfordshire. The practice itself has an intriguing history – it has previously been a butchers, police station & offices. We have since created a modern, proactive practice, ready to serve our loyal clientele that has been well-established since we opened in 1999. As well as RCVS accreditation, we have also achieved IFSM’s Silver Cat Friendly Status. We are a 5-vet practice (4FTE), with a highly supportive and talented nursing team to support (who are encouraged to utilise their skills fully). We have a good range of equipment including ultrasound/digital x-ray, dental x-ray, capnography and tonovet. About the role: We are looking for a vet that is confident with routine procedures and consultations. The role consists of a mix of consults and surgeries of our varied first opinion caseload, with time rota’d in to help you keep on top of the all-important admin. We pride ourselves on providing the highest standards of care to our clients. Our routine appointments last 15 minutes, (30 minutes for complex cases) with several 30-minute ‘open on the day’ appointments for emergencies and urgent cases throughout the day.
