Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has come up for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Corporate and Health Records team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT). This is an exciting time to join the Corporate and Health Records Department as we are transitioning from a paper-led service to an electronic digital service.
In this role, you will be at the heart of this transformation, ensuring records management services run smoothly, efficiently and in line with legislation and national guidance. A key part of your role will be working closely with the Trust's Electronic Patient Record (EPR) team while driving strategic quality improvements to support the move from paper to digital records.

Main Duties of the Job:
1. Leading the operational and strategic management of the Health Records service.
2. Supporting the Head of Corporate and Health Records in developing the service, including electronic document management.
3. Working with teams across the Trust to improve record keeping.
4. Contributing to strategic planning, service improvements and future developments.
5. Leading diverse teams.

Person Specification:
Experience (Essential):
* Significant experience in an NHS senior information management role.
* NHS information standards, central returns and information systems.
* NHS targets and performance indicators, including access, clinical and efficiency.
* Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Caldicott.
* Analytical tools: statistical techniques, forecasting, modelling, simulation and benchmarking.
* IT tools, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint. Clinical and administrative systems.
Skills & Behaviours (Essential):
* Team worker able to lead and motivate, encourages freedom to act and accountability.
* Attention to detail.
* Able to work on own initiative.

Qualifications (Essential):
* Postgraduate Management qualification to Masters Level or equivalent experience in relevant area.
