Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified ACP to join our well-established Acute Medicine ACP team. The Acute Medicine service sees up to 140 patients per day, across a variety of settings; our Acute Medicine Receiving Unit, Assessment Ward B3 and Level 1. We also provide an in-reach service to all Acute Medicine patients referred to us by the Emergency Department. The variety and pace of the work we cover offers unrivalled clinical experience, and you will see cases ranging from minor Ambulatory conditions to critically unstable patients with a range of presentations. The Acute Medicine service is rapidly developing and expanding bringing opportunities for new areas of clinical work, research, education and leadership. We offer a five-year development programme for qualified ACPs supported by the Consultant Lead for ACP and Senior ACPs. The department is also one of the first in the Trust to begin the process of developing senior ACP roles, providing more experienced ACPs the opportunity to progress their career within this diverse speciality.
