The Role

As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of Westway Trust’s properties, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. You will manage both in-house teams and subcontractors to deliver effective and efficient facilities management, focusing on proactive and responsive maintenance.
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and evening work as required.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including hard and soft services.
* Oversee a small maintenance team and subcontractors.
* Ensure statutory compliance through regular inspections and audits.
* Prepare and manage service charge budgets.
* Develop systems for managing contractors and permit-to-work systems.
* Liaise with the Property Management Team to coordinate refurbishment projects.
* Be the first point of contact for keyholders and ensure a high standard of customer service.
