The Role As Senior Keyholder, you will support The Barrel Store management team in the running of the venue and occasionally running shifts. You will play a key role in driving the business forward by enhancing customer satisfaction, boosting sales, and help in fostering a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional service. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their operational and leadership skills in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Development: Support and motivate the front of house team, promoting a collaborative and positive work culture. Assist with staff training and development to ensure consistent, high-quality service. Operational Support: Assist in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining stock levels, and upholding health and safety standards. Ensure compliance with licensing laws and company policies. Customer Experience: Deliver and uphold excellent customer service, creating memorable experiences for every visitor. Handle customer feedback professionally to enhance the overall guest experience. Event Management: Assist in coordinating and managing events, working closely with the Events Executive and marketing team. Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of Wiper and True’s beer offering to enhance the guests experience. Requirements Experience in a hospitality, preferably in a bar, taproom, or similar setting at keyholder/supervisor level. A passion for craft beer and knowledge of brewing processes is advantageous. Exceptional customer service abilities and a collaborative mindset. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Why come and work for us? Location: Predominantly at The Barrel Store, in St Werburghs, but some holiday/absence cover may be required at our other venues. Hours: Minimum of 25-30 hours per week, over varying shift patterns from Wednesday to Sunday, with evening and weekend work shifts a requirement. Salary : The hourly rate is £12.80, but subject to increase with our annual pay review in March.
