Job Summary
Kiwa Product Compliance is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer to join our team and ensure our customers' products meet global radio frequency (RF) regulatory standards. In this leadership role, you will act as a technical expert, providing guidance and high-level support to both customers and internal teams. You will play a key role in shaping compliance strategies, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless project delivery. This role is based in Aylesbury, with hybrid working available. About the role
1. Lead RF Compliance Strategies – Develop and implement solutions to ensure compliance with global regulations.
2. Provide Technical Expertise – Support customers, test houses, and labs in resolving complex regulatory and technical challenges.
3. Manage Key Accounts – Act as the technical lead for customer accounts and country-specific compliance projects.
4. Oversee Documentation & Testing – Review technical documents, conduct sample screenings, and maintain regulatory databases.
5. Support KPC Technical Tables & Research – Assist in creating, maintaining, and managing technical tables and research projects.
6. Monitor Industry Changes – Stay informed on evolving RF standards and drive updates to company policies.
7. Drive Business Innovation – Support initiatives that enhance service delivery and technical excellence.
Line Management Responsibilities:
1. Lead & Mentor the Technical Team – Provide guidance, set goals, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
2. Optimise Team Productivity – Delegate tasks effectively and support team growth through training and development.
3. Support Recruitment & Onboarding – Ensure a seamless hiring and integration process for new team members.
4. Foster Collaboration – Encourage open communication and teamwork across departments, ensuring effective project delivery.
5. Contribute to Strategy – Align compliance initiatives with business objectives and address challenges proactively.
Do you have what it takes?
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field.
2. Extensive technical and regulatory expertise across a broad level (countries) and technologies (RFID, WWAN, BT, etc.).
3. Proven experience in RF compliance with strong knowledge of global standards, regulations, commercial practices, and EU/FCC compliance processes.
4. Skilled in reviewing technical documents, interpreting drawings, and using test equipment.
5. Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and regulatory issues.
6. Pro-active at learning new technologies and following industry trends.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
