This role plays a key part in advancing JLL’s Global Technology Research Program, supporting research innovation, thought leadership, and client-focused insights. The successful candidate will contribute to flagship research projects while taking ownership of the PropTech insight series. They will manage proprietary technology databases and create case study repositories, ensuring JLL stays at the forefront of emerging trends in AI, robotics, and quantum computing. The role will facilitate strategic partnerships, such as with JLL Spark, and drive internal knowledge-sharing to strengthen JLL’s position as a leader in real estate technology. Key Accountabilities Support JLL’s global Technology Research Program by contributing to flagship research projects, expanding research capacity, and driving better research activation, e.g. through innovative formats of interactive data viz on social media Create bespoke, client-specific insights by leveraging global technology research assets and collaborating with account leads and business leaders. Champion the partnership with JLL Spark and take ownership of the PropTech Insights Series, with manager oversight Manage and update the JLL PropTech database, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information for client advisory and ongoing insights output Develop and maintain a proprietary Tech & AI case study repository, curating practical, real-world examples that support research findings and showcase JLL’s technology capabilities Track the latest developments in technology such as AI, robotics, and quantum computing and proactively drive internal knowledge sharing, ensuring key insights are disseminated across teams Skills & Competencies A keen interest in technology issues in the real estate sector and in the economy more generally An ability to work effectively on your own with guidance Strong communication skills and an ability to work in a matrix organization Ability to network effectively with a wide range of stakeholders within JLL, including JLL Technology Excellent attention to detail Confident presenter and public speaker Good technical skills in data analysis with Python, SQL, and any data visualization tool as a plus Good time-management skills – to be able to juggle a range of tasks involved and to meet deadlines A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to think about how we can enhance our expertise and reputation in this area Able to deliver through a geographically dispersed functional team. A strong awareness of technology and its impact on people, space, place and capital Clear bias towards continued innovation, data and digital transformation Qualifications / Experience / Education Proven track record in technology research or property research.
