Overview
Are you able to spot the risks before they happen? Can you review information objectively and guide your client to safety? We are looking for a Business Continuity and Enterprise Risk Consultant to join our Gallagher Risk Management Solutions team.
Your aim is to help clients handle risk exposure more actively in their workplace, for such issues as Health & Safety and Business Continuity planning. You will use your commercial expertise and sound judgement to assess the decisions for clients, growing retention and renewal rates along the journey.
You should explore and conduct research into your client’s business and highlight any risks that they need to consider; loyally protect your client and their interests before delivering bespoke solutions in a consultancy manner.
How you'll make an impact
To deliver business continuity and enterprise risk management services including:
* Business continuity management
o BCP development, including business impact analysis
o Business Continuity Management System development
o Reviews of existing BCPs and BCMS
o Development and conducting of various types of tests and exercises
o Development and delivery of business continuity training
* Enterprise Risk Management
o Development of corporate risk registers
o Reviews and gap analysis of existing risk registers
o Provision of training and guidance to clients on the subject of ERM, including acting as a ‘critical friend’ on risk/audit committees
o Development of ERM processes, procedures and protocols for clients
o Business development/prospecting within Gallagher’s existing client base to identify and convert opportunities.
* Help/advise clients to manage their risk exposure more proactively so that they become a better risk to insure, receive better rates at renewal (or continue to be offered insurance) and continue to stay in business. Work with in-house teams to protect current clients and support marketing exercises to win new business.
* The role will be home-based with travel to clients' premises.
About You
* Superb interpersonal skills to connect and build trust with our Clients and Broking Teams.
* Appropriate professional qualification (minimum CBCI) and experience for this role.
* Good experience of and capabilities in using typical office-based IT systems (Office 365).
* Good all-round experience working in different sectors.
* Preferable to have previous consulting experience.
* Works flexibly within client’s budget to produce added value.
